Full-time, night shift, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide total nursing care for patients during 12-hour night shifts
- Assess patients, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement care plans
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Monitor patient vitals, interpret measurements, and respond to adverse reactions promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
- Float to other Med-Surg units as needed to support patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to unit needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in diverse patient populations, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric care
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
