Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult patients in a hospital setting.
• Manage patient care in high-acuity environments, including trauma and ICU units.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards during all procedures.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years adult respiratory therapy experience.
• Recent experience in a hospital with trauma and ICU cases.
• Level 1 trauma center experience is mandatory.
• Must have current AR license two weeks prior to start date.
• COVID vaccination not required upon submission.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
• Cannot be a current state employee.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
• Strong CRT candidates with substantial tertiary hospital experience considered.
• Experience in facilities with 300+ beds and level 1 trauma designation.
