Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), approximately 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit for adult patients.
- Monitor patient conditions, utilize telemetry equipment, and administer medications and treatments.
- Manage complex wounds, administer blood products, and facilitate pain management.
- Handle tubes and drains including NG, PEG, and surgical drains; operate chest tubs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately using EMR systems.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license.
- Medical Surgical experience.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma or telemetry experience.
- Experience with complex wound care and blood product administration.
- Familiarity with specialized equipment such as vein finders, bladder scanners, and wound vacs.
