Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, Nights, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated nursing care for patients on a medical surgical and neuro stroke unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform assessments.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Utilize remote telemonitoring equipment and Electronic Medical Records (Meditech).
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a medical surgical or neuro stroke unit.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- NIH Stroke certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience on neuro or stroke designated units.
