Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care for patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment and documentation systems
• Perform bedside shift reports and conduct hourly safety roundings
• Draw labs and assist with procedures on general Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Float to other similar units or to the Emergency Department as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass the hospital’s telemetry test
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry setting
• Experience performing general Med/Surg telemetry procedures and drawing labs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Strong patient communication and safety skills
• Ability to adapt to new equipment or technology in a fast-paced environment
