• Travel, nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret rhythm strips, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, bronchoscopy, TEE, and cardioversion.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards using the Meditech EMR.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while managing high-acuity cases and equipment such as ventilators.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license (RN).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience.
• Ability to care for critically ill patients and monitor rhythm strips effectively.
• Experience with ICU procedures including ventilator management, intubation, and bedside invasive procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital ICU, ideally within a similar patient population.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented, and adaptable to schedule changes.
