Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a step-down, intermediate care, or progressive care unit
• Monitor patient condition using cardiac drips, BIPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Perform bedside assessments, documentation, and bedside shift reports for all patients, including those in isolation
• Assist with bedside procedures such as cardioversion when needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow unit-specific policies and protocols to maintain safety and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Virginia or valid multi-state license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units
• Experience with cardiac drips, BIPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to perform bedside procedures and handle acute patient needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with sepsis management
• Familiarity with inpatient documentation systems (such as Expanse)
• Ability to float to related units such as Step-Down, Med/Surg, or Oncology as needed
• Strong teamwork and accountability skills
