Schedule / Job Type

• Full-Time, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 4 shifts per week, 8-week assignment, travel position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting.
• Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, bedside thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations.
• Monitor and operate ICU equipment such as ventilators, GE cardiac output monitors, and therapeutic devices.
• Document patient care using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team based on patient acuity and staffing needs.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital policies, including dress code and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (temp licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform ICU-specific procedures safely and efficiently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical records.
• CCNR certification preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with ICU equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.
