Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour evening shifts (Mids), scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a cardio-focused hospital serving an elderly and critically ill patient population
• Manage a range of critical and medically challenged patients with a focus on acute care
• Pass an EKG test on the first day of orientation
• Float within service lines and across locations as needed, including Evanston, Glenbrook, and Skokie
• Adhere to schedule requirements, including one holiday and alternating weekends

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• CPR and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke, PALS, TNCC or TNS certifications
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of emergency room experience
• Experience with critical care in a cardio-centered hospital setting
• Ability to work with elderly and medically complex patients
• Current credentials including DS, CBC, and Tspot or QuantiFERON Gold testing within the past 90 days
