Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract (may extend to 26 weeks)
- Night shifts, includes on-call, weekends, and holidays
- Varied assignments and floating to locations within 20 miles as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for hospital and outpatient patients
- Perform diagnostic testing, respiratory treatments, and ventilatory support in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibly adapt to varied shift assignments and floating requirements
- Work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure patient care quality and safety
- Support departmental staffing needs through varied assignments and schedules
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Diploma in Respiratory Care
- New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- PALS certification (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- NALS or NRP certification (American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)
- At least 2 years of current experience in adult critical care, progressive care, medical-surgical, or general pediatrics
Preferred Experience / Skills
- EPIC systems experience (training available on-site)
