• Full-time, rotating shifts (may include weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures, provide instructions, and ensure comfort and cooperation
• Select and operate MRI equipment, including coils, physiologic gating devices, and related tools
• Position patients and equipment appropriately to obtain optimal imaging results while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Apply safety principles to minimize risk related to magnetic resonance procedures
• Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as needed
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures
• Evaluate and manipulate digital images for quality, ensuring proper identification and documentation
• Maintain accurate records using radiology information systems and PACS, and complete all required reports
• Support patient needs physically and psychologically during procedures
• Initiate basic life support when necessary and practice aseptic techniques
• Provide instruction and support to colleagues and students as required

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT MRI certification required
• CPR or BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
• Ability to work flexibly across various shift types and schedules
• Good patient care and communication skills
