• Full-time / Day shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech-language pathology assessments and treatments for patients in an acute care setting.
• Use evidence-based practices and independent judgment to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in departmental programs, continuing education, and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise students when available and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency and adhere to ethical standards outlined by professional practices and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with department protocols, including productivity and prioritization of care.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology).
• Current Maryland state licensure (pending license is acceptable).
• Ability to work in an acute care environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• ASHA certification or familiarity with FEES procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
