Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in a medical surgical setting, following physician’s orders, standards of care, and hospital policies.
• Support patients of all ages and their families through patient assessment, intervention, and education.
• Work independently to complete nursing assignments, ensuring compliance with guidelines and safety protocols.
• Perform a variety of nursing procedures, maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted nursing license to practice in any U.S. state or territory.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute or sub-acute care facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a healthcare setting serving diverse populations, including Native American communities.
• Knowledge of perioperative and emergency procedures in a hospital environment.
