- Full-time, days shift, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures within a cardiac surgery unit
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile environment
- Support surgical team during cardiovascular surgeries such as CABG and valve repairs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Help with patient preparation and post-operative care as needed
Required Qualifications
- Surgical technologist certification (CST) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of surgical experience in a cardiovascular setting
- Ability to work 10.5-hour shifts and stay flexible with schedule
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac procedures such as TAVR, TMV, or MitraClip
- Familiarity with surgical equipment including EVH video tower, cryo systems, and IABP consoles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
