• Days, 4 shifts per week, variable schedule with rotating weekends and holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, supporting surgical teams across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, and OBGYN
• Assist with C-sections and other obstetric procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with anesthesia and respiratory support teams, managing ventilators and other monitoring equipment 24/7
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic Electronic Medical Records system, ensuring compliance with all protocols and procedures
• Participate in rotating weekly shifts, including weekend call, with a 20-minute callback policy
• Support patient recovery and monitor post-surgical needs, ensuring positive outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license on file at the time of submission
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent unit experience, including experience with C-sections
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system from the past 2 years is mandatory
• Ability to scrub highly preferred; strong circulating skills accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a critical access or similar facility preferred
• Experience managing ventilators and anesthesia support is advantageous
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This position offers competitive travel rates and local compensation options based on proximity. The facility is a critical access hospital with a small, dedicated surgical team.
