Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced equipment such as Welch Allyn Vital Sign devices, COWs, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and CareView Virtual Sitter.
• Administer medication and treatments, including IV therapy and wound care procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and treatments accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies including dress code (navy scrubs) and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• IV Certification for LVNs (if applicable).
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Experience working on a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification.
• Experience with stroke NIH protocols, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated personality.
