Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and compassionate delivery experiences.
- Document patient progress and procedures accurately in the medical records system.
- Assist with postpartum care and patient education.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or applicable state.
- Minimum of 2 years of current labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical skills in maternity and neonatal care.
- Proficiency in documentation systems (experience with Meditech preferred).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Neonatal Intensive Care (if applicable).
- Knowledge of advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
