Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week (12-hour night shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Monitor patients' cardiac status through telemetry and respond to rapid response team activations.
• Manage gastrointestinal cases including colostomy and feeding tube care.
• Oversee pre/post-hemodialysis management and address renal failure patients' needs.
• Administer blood products, manage IV therapy, and operate central lines and PICC lines.
• Implement isolation precautions, wound care, and manage surgical drains as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid IL nursing license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient medical-surgical RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and emergency response.
• Experience with gastrointestinal and renal patient care, including hemodialysis management.
• Ability to perform IV therapy, blood product administration, and manage complex medication protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing neurological and psychiatric cases, including spinal cord injuries.
• Knowledge of respiratory support equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and HFNC.
• Familiarity with surgical drains and thoracic post-operative care.
• Experience working in a Level I trauma center or similar acute care environment.
