Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis.
• Provide assistance to other imaging technologists and collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure efficient patient throughput.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in quality assurance activities, and maintain image processing and archiving systems.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and uphold professional image and excellent patient care.
• Adapt imaging techniques to meet the individual needs of diverse patients, respecting psychosocial, cultural, and age-related factors.
• Document procedures accurately, ensuring correct scanning, storage, and handling of imaging data within PACS systems.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB.
• State licensure for New Mexico (CT or FUS).
• BLS certification (AHA only).
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with PACS systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in hospital or outpatient imaging departments.
• Ability to adapt to different shifts and multiple campuses as needed.
