Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on staff experience and education.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care within the unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid OH or multi-state compact RN license, submitted with application.
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association, attached to submission.
• 2 to 5 years of applicable clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Vent/trach management experience required, knowledge of central lines preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a LTAC or long-term acute care setting.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills.
