Schedule / Job Type

• Day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including scrubbing and circulating.
• Handle robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgical cases with proper aseptic techniques.
• Maintain accurate counts, handle specimens, and ensure patient safety.
• Be available for call on nights and weekends as required.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedures and patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent OR experience in scrubbing and circulating roles prior to travel assignment.
• Ohio RN license in good standing; compact licenses accepted for starts on or after 1/1/2023.
• Active BLS certification.
• One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the OR specialty.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signed contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgeries and handling a variety of surgical cases.
• Prior experience with OR team collaboration and accurate count procedures.
• Familiarity with travel and compliance protocols within hospital settings.
