- Full-time, Day shifts, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Implement therapy plans focusing on cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, and sports medicine.
- Assist patients with mobility devices, body mechanics, pain management, and safety education.
- Document patient progress, update plans of care, and coordinate with healthcare teams.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations, including a full weekend every 6 weeks with compensatory flex days.
- Support patient recovery through therapeutic interventions such as gait training, mobility skills, and conditioning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a PT.
- CPR certification.
- Proficiency in assessment, therapeutic techniques, and documentation in Epic or similar systems.
- Ability to participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced training in areas such as LSVT BIG for Parkinson’s, vestibular therapy, or pelvic floor therapy.
- Experience working in acute care hospital settings.
- Familiarity with equipment such as traction tables, assistive devices, and modalities like E-stim, cryotherapy, and lumbar traction.
