Job Title
• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location
• Richmond, VA

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Monitor patients’ conditions accurately and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient care and progress using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float within scope to other units if needed to ensure optimal patient coverage.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia or a compact state.
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Ability to start within a reasonable timeframe, with all background checks approved.
• Willingness to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with VCU protocols and policies.
• Knowledge of Virginia’s fingerprinting procedures for background checks.
