Part-time, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Room, including med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department units.
• Perform routine RN procedures such as IV starts, Foley catheter insertion, and patient monitoring.
• Float between different units/departments as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care across all areas.
• Collaborate with other nurses and healthcare team members to deliver efficient, patient-centered care.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including badge in/out and maintaining required certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Active license to practice as an RN in South Dakota or a Compact State.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience and 2 years of Med/Surg experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records and telemetry equipment.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, with flexibility for floating to different units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical Access Hospital experience.
• Prior experience serving as a charge nurse in the ER.
• Familiarity with Philips telemetry monitors and Lifepak 15.
• Previous experience working with Sanford Health or similar healthcare systems (must note previous employment).
