Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Days, 8.5 hours per shift, 5 days per week, starting December 22, 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations and therapeutic services for hospital patients
- Perform bedside swallow assessments and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Utilize MBSS and other instrumentation to assess patient needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress accurately within the facility's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
- CCC-SLP certification
- Valid New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong bedside swallow assessment skills and experience with MBSS
- Flexibility and excellent communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute hospital setting, including neuro, trauma, and ICU patients
- Ability to perform FEES (additional equipment available but not required)
- Experience with cognitive assessments and working with patients with tracheostomies
