Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: San Marcos, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding care plans and health management.
• Demonstrate competency in nursing practices aligned with ANA standards and organizational competencies.
  Required Qualifications:
• RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association only).
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Prior experience in emergency or acute care settings.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
