Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift (4x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality medical-surgical nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Assist in patient assessment, planning, and implementation of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams utilizing a team nursing model.
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a medical-surgical or trauma setting.
• Experience working in a large hospital and trauma center preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and accommodate holiday work requirements.
• Demonstrated competency in Cerner electronic health records (preferred).
• Up-to-date vaccinations, with documentation provided at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification (must be current).
• Experience with team-based nursing models.
