Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 4 shifts per week, days (4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with 1 day off per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting for a 13-week contract
• Assist with surgical procedures, including C-Sections and trauma cases such as gunshot wounds
• Participate in on-call rotation, including 1 night and 1 weekend shift per week
• Float within hospital departments as needed to support patient care
• Adhere to travel compliance requirements and documentation protocols
• Maintain working knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Valid State or Compact Nursing License at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience; 4+ years preferred
• Experience with C-Section procedures and trauma/gunshot wound cases performance
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts with call availability
• Willingness to consider candidates with at least 1 year of experience and a clean background
• Copy of Social Security Number (SSN) and Date of Birth (DOB) included with submission
• Copy of recent Nursys verification (within the last 7 days)
• COVID-19 vaccination card or completed exemption request (if applicable)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC electronic medical record experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience working within hospital float pools or varied departments
• Backgrounds with minor infractions accepted if in good standing over the past year

Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower rate. Travelers must include RTO requests (kept to 5 days or less), and one submission per specialty is required. Candidates should be willing to float as needed and meet all compliance standards for travel and licensure.
