Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 4 days per week, 12-hour daytime shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams utilizing a team nursing model with a patient ratio of 1:6/7
• Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic health record (Cerner experience preferred)
• Participate in holiday coverage as required, working at least 1-2 major holidays if they fall during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or valid compact license
• Minimum of 2 years recent, clinical experience in a hospital setting, with at least 3 years preferred
• Experience in a Level I Trauma or acute care hospital
• Ability to meet all travel compliance requirements, including RTO documentation prior to submission
• Must adhere to Tier 2 travel compliance guidelines
• Must be willing to work holiday shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience at a large hospital
• Cerner EHR system experience
• Trauma unit experience is strongly preferred
• BLS certification (active and valid)
