Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and implement radiation treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and radiation therapists
- Utilize advanced dosimetry software to calculate optimal radiation doses
- Ensure precise delivery of radiation treatments according to established protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and procedures in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy
Required Qualifications
- Valid California State License as a Dosimetrist
- Certification in Radiation Dosimetry (e.g., Certified Radiology/Dosimetry Professional) (if applicable)
- Proficiency with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment and ARIA system required
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 1 year of dosimetry experience in an oncology setting
- Familiarity with radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
