- Full-time, Days shift, 5 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiology procedures utilizing equipment such as Vitek, BactAlert, Meditech, and manual processes.
- Support analyzer installation and assist with specialized microbiology work as needed.
- Conduct specific competency assessments for each analyzer type and current microbiology processes.
- Follow department protocols and ensure quality control in microbiology testing.
- Support microbiology department operations within a 52-bed facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of bench microbiology experience.
- Valid ASCP – MT or CLS licensure or certification.
- Proficiency in microbiology techniques and laboratory equipment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience supporting analyzer installations and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with microbiology automation and manual procedures.
- Ability to work independently and support various microbiology workflows.
