Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to ICU patients, including adult and pediatric populations with complex medical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret rhythm strips and telemetric data; respond quickly to arrhythmias or emergencies.
• Administer titratable IV medications such as heparin, insulin, amiodarone, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RTs and CNA staff, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, including cardiac arrests and respiratory failures in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin.
• ICU experience, with pediatric ICU experience preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Ability to read and interpret rhythm strips; experience with titration of IV drips is required.
• Experience with ventilators such as Servo U, Vapotherm, and Hamilton ventilators.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric ICU experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working with GE ApexPro CH tele monitors.
• Previous employment with Marshfield or similar healthcare institutions.
