Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilator management, IV starts, ICP monitoring, and conscious sedation.
• Perform PA line placements and manage Swan-Ganz catheter assessments.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems (Epic preferred).
• Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs in a high-acuity environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality ICU care.
• Adhere to all safety, clinical, and compliance protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with PA line and Swan-Ganz experience assessed during interview.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with ventilators, IV starts, ICP monitoring, tele, and conscious sedation required.
• Ability to pass initial EKG exam during orientation.
• Must be flexible to float within hospital units as needed.
• Up-to-date profile documents, including two supervisor references, recent Nursys report, and COVID vaccination verification, required at submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification.
• Experience in Level I Trauma ICU or charge nurse roles.
• Epic charting experience highly preferred.
