• Full-time, on-site, rotating shift (day and night options)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit at a busy hospital.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret ECG rhythms accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information thoroughly and accurately.
• Respond quickly to patient emergencies and facilitate safe patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Telemetry/Medical Surgical experience.
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel.
• Current Ohio or Compact state RN license in-hand.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments successfully during orientation.
• Commitment to work at least every other holiday.
• Must pass background checks, and drug screening, including nicotine testing (if applicable).
• Must complete FBI/BCI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with large patient populations.
• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced telemetry environment.
