Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient needs through individualized evaluations in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer treatments, medications, and perform procedures such as blood draws, IV insertions, and EKGs accurately and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies with appropriate resuscitative measures following established protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in compliance with facility policies.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, ensuring understanding of care plans and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department preferred.
• Certification in ACLS, PALS, and CPR; NRP and TNCC required within one year of employment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency room environment.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
