Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, days and nights rotating

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care specialized in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update patient care plans
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and infection control policies

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months recent full-time Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignment
• Active Ohio license or valid Compact state license in hand at the time of application
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and in good standing)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (pass with acceptable scores)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a large hospital or academic medical center
• Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules and variable hours

• Candidates must have a permanent Ohio license or approved Compact license issued after 1/1/2023
