Full-time, day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-risk obstetric care in a high-volume, fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit with 4 ORs.
- Function as a Baby Nurse during deliveries, handling assessments, eye and thigh injections, and vitals until transfer to postpartum.
- Circulate during procedures, monitor fetal monitoring, and support postpartum and antepartum care.
- Support patients with various diagnoses, including midwifery clients, adult recovery, and community clinics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams following AWHONN guidelines and utilizing electronic fetal monitoring systems.
- Float to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby services as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of recent high-acuity, high-risk labor and delivery experience.
- Current RN license (WA or compact license accepted).
- Valid BLS, NRP certifications; ACLS, AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate preferred.
- Proven experience in postpartum, antepartum, and fetal monitoring.
- Ability to circulate during deliveries and perform newborn assessments, eye and thigh injections, and medication administration.
- Must pass clinical review and provide proof of current NURSYS certification.
- Must provide supervisory references from recent roles.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 years of high-risk obstetric experience preferred.
- Experience supporting substance recovery, community care clinics, and private OB practices.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records.
