Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor and titrate IV medications, including Heparin, and respond to patient needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly.
• Respond to patient needs during 12-hour shifts, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Utilize unit resources and equipment to support patient care, including telemetry monitoring and oxygen therapy.

Required Qualifications

• Active IL Registered Nurse license or confirmation that application has been initiated.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for Charge RN role.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to perform IV starts and manage drips, including Heparin.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with adult medical-surgical patients with various diagnoses.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for patient safety and medication administration.
