Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality image acquisition.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR work with C-arm.
- Practice radiation safety following ALARA standards to protect patients and staff.
- Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with service engineers as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health records (EHR), including charging for procedures and supplies.
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and other modalities when necessary, providing flexible support to the team.
- Order, stock, and manage supply inventory for continuous departmental operations.
- Contribute to departmental training, mentoring, and cross-training activities.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and foster a positive, professional environment consistent with organizational values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology, including certification in CT and MRI.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with MRI and CT credentials.
- Cross-training experience in modalities such as DEXA or Mammography.
- Familiarity with electronic record systems like PACS and RIS/HIS.
