- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical unit for various complex procedures including joint replacements, spine care, neuro surgeries, and general surgery.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and utilize EMR system for documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with a fast-paced, team-oriented staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and discharge planning as needed.
- Support unit operations during assigned shift, ensuring compliance with safety and clinical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Basic Dysthymia class (preferred)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS or PALS certification
- Previous experience in a med-surg or neuro/ortho setting
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 with PCT support
