- Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic, neurological, and trauma patients in a fast-paced, 36-bed med/surg unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams utilizing mobile communication tools for efficient patient management and documentation.
- Administer medications, wound care, and dressing changes in accordance with unit protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions using remote telemetry and other specialized equipment.
- Document patient progress and coordinate care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to unit policies, including shift rotations and dress code requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS certification
- Acute care hospital experience on med/surg or tele units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH certification
- Experience with orthopedic, neurological, or trauma patient care
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
