Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Overland Park, KS

Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients on the telemetry unit
• Manage post-procedure cardiac patients, including titration of IV medications such as heparin and insulin
• Monitor patient vital signs and equipment, including pacemakers
• Document patient care accurately using hospital-specific systems
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit policies, procedures, and dress code (scrubs)

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Prior telemetry experience, especially with cardiac patients
• Experience managing IV medications and post-procedure cardiac care
• Ability to work night shifts and self-schedule shifts as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Background in cardiac unit settings
• Experience working in a hospital environment with similar patient acuity
