• Days shift, 12-hour shifts, schedule includes 3 shifts per week and 3 weekend shifts per schedule period

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
• Monitor and assess post-op patients, including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, trauma, and neuro overflow cases.
• Collaborate with team members, including unit secretaries and techs, to ensure efficient patient care and documentation using Meditech.
• Perform bedside shift reports, hourly rounding, and uphold patient experience standards.
• Float to other MedSurg level care units such as General Med/Surg, Nephrology, or Neuro/Trauma as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in a MedSurg setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Orthopedic (Ortho) experience.
• Telemetry (Tele) experience.
• Neuro/Trauma or NIH experience is a plus.
