Job Title

• Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) – Scrub Required

• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacements, and more
• Prepare and handle cardiovascular/thoracic instruments following aseptic technique
• Scrub for and circulate during surgical cases requiring CVOR expertise
• Reprocess and document cardiovascular and thoracic instruments
• Maintain sterile field and assist with intraoperative management during Level I Trauma hospital procedures
• Follow all safety protocols and equipment documentation requirements

Required Qualifications

• Scrub experience required, with a minimum of 5+ years of CST experience
• At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular surgery
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
• 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Proficiency in general OR procedures, thoracic and vascular surgeries, and cardiovascular instrumentation
• Experience with EPIC charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Ability to manage complex cardiovascular procedures and aseptic techniques
• Strong understanding of OR equipment and crash cart management
