Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care for a diverse patient population across multiple units.
• Manage ventilator and NIV therapies, including arterial blood gases and airway management.
• Administer medications such as nebulizers, bronchodilators, and other respiratory treatments.
• Perform procedures like suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and run therapies such as BiPAP and CPAP.
• Float between units as needed, including emergency or critical care areas.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and accurately document all care in the electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN and NC (North Carolina) licenses, or Compact license in hand at start.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, including NICU, PICU, Peds, and Peds ED preferred.
• Ability to manage airway therapies and ventilator settings.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a community hospital setting.
• Experience with advanced respiratory therapies and pediatric emergency care.
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic health record system.
