- Full-time, 13-week contract, Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown unit.
- Monitor and assess patients using bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, and other equipment.
- Perform emergent procedures such as chest tube placement, midline or PICC line insertions, and bedside bronchoscopy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, quality patient care.
- Document patient status and care plans accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Assist with patient transitions and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- NIHHS accreditation or related credential.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in advanced procedures such as CATN, TCAR, or TCCN.
- Experience working in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
- Previous experience with emergent bedside procedures.
