Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures within a 4-room operating suite
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- Ensure sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols
- Support surgical team during procedures as needed
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot technical issues during surgeries
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to surgical support
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in an operating room setting
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle on-call duties
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a critical access or small hospital setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to urgent situations and varying surgical cases
