Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
  • Select, administer, or monitor medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately in medical records.
  • Respond to patient needs promptly and professionally.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing or an ASN/BSN degree.
  • Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier lifts as needed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in Medical Surgical units.
  • Additional certifications relevant to inpatient care may be a plus.
