Job Title

• Full-time, 8-hour days, Monday - Friday, Days Shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, primarily using True Beam linear accelerators.
• Operate dosimetry systems such as Electron Beam Therapy and IMRT for cancer treatments, including prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials.
• Utilize imaging technologies like CBCT, kV, and MV imaging to ensure accurate patient positioning.
• Adjust beam modifiers and field shaping to optimize treatment plans.
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols related to radiation therapy procedures.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care and treatment accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical dosimetry experience.
• Current certification in BLS, ARRT, or ARRT (T).
• Experience with Electron Beam Therapy, IMRT, and Varian True Beam systems.
• Ability to operate advanced radiation therapy equipment and imaging systems.
• NC or Compact State license in Radiation Therapy, in-hand at start.
• Clear criminal background check and travel compliance requirements met within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience delivering radiation treatment for prostate cancer with seeds or fiducials.
• Familiarity with respiratory gating and breath-hold techniques, particularly for left breast cancer.
• Experience working in adult outpatient oncology settings.
• Strong knowledge of Epic or similar electronic charting systems.
• Ability to float within hospital units and to affiliate facilities as needed.
