Day shifts, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients across a variety of age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies
• Assist with dysphasia management through bedside assessments and interpretation of studies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including interpretation services, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory services, and social services
• Document patient progress using Epic charting system
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with travel and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio (pending approval)
• Certifications in CCC-SLP, MBSImP, and OH licenses
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to interpret modified barium swallow studies and conduct bedside swallow evaluations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic charting experience
• Experience working in acute care or inpatient settings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed
